Whether you are a family caregiver, a community volunteer, or a student, you can be a part of the Caregivers Community Network!
Giving to the Caregivers Community Network
As a non-profit organization, Caregiver’s Community Network depends on financial support from the community to sustain its operation. Although we use volunteers to provide care, we need financial support for staff to coordinate and schedule services, and to provide resources, support, and training.
Your gift of any amount is important and will help us continue to provide services to families of elders facing the daily challenges of frailty or Alzheimer’s disease.
Ways to Give:
Check: payable to “JMU Foundation” and “Fund 14291” entered in the memo line.
James Madison University
220 University Blvd
Online by Credit/Debit Card: Visit www.jmu.edu/give to make a gift online by credit/debit card. To ensure that CCN receives this give, choose “other” in the “My gift will support” drop down box, then enter “14291” in the “Other or Additional Gift Information” box below.
In-Kind: You can help CCN in a significant way by shopping our Amazon Wish List. This is a list of selected books and movies that would be very helpful to volunteers when they are visiting homebound elderly.
To see a list of what we are looking for, visit www.amazon.com and click "Wishlist".
In the box that says, "Find someone's list", type Caregivers Community Network and then click "go".
You will see an extensive list of books and DVD's we would like to acquire to build a lending library for our volunteers to use during visits. If you ALREADY OWN one of these and wish to donate it, so much the better! Just call 540-568-6682.
Memorial/In Honor Gifts: A memorial is a personal remembrance that honors the life of a friend, relative, or colleague with a gift of love and hope. Or you can honor a special occasion, birthday, anniversary, graduation of a friend, relative, or colleague with a meaningful living tribute.
