CCN wins award from Commonwealth Council on Aging

A special presentation was held at the JMU Leeolou Alumni Center on May 30, 2018 to present Kathy Guisewite, CCN Coordinator, with the Commonwealth Council on Aging Best Practice Award (Second Place). Kathy was joined by Jeri Schaff, VPAS ED, and Rhonda Zingraft, JMU IIHHS to receive the award. The award was presented by Dr. Richard Lindsay, Chair of the Council's Best Practice Award committee. The award came with a $3,000 check for the CCN program. A CCN family and student spoke on behalf of the CCN program and the positive impact it made in the life of the student, caregiver, and care recipient.
