Generations Together at James Madison University will assist in meeting community needs by partnering college students with older adults from the community who, as co-service learners, will then participate in activities, crafts and games with children, fostering a mentoring relationship. The program will give all participants the opportunity to benefit from, and learn from and about, the other generations. The participants will benefit from the breakdown of stereotypes of older adults, college students, and young children.
